Many people love the convenience of wireless earbuds. They can use them with a phone, tablet, or computer. And they’re easy to lose when not being used. So when they don’t work, you have a problem.
If you’re having trouble getting your wireless earbuds to work correctly, you’re not alone. In fact, many people struggle with them all the time.
But, there are a few things you can do to fix them.
Replace the earphones
Many people struggle with their earbuds because they’re too tight or too loose. If they are too tight, they can cause pressure damage to your ear. If they are too loose, they won’t stay in place and you’ll have to adjust them all the time.
To fix this, simply replace the earphones. A simple YouTube search will find you some replacement pairs. Another common problem is that the cord is too short. This can lead to the cord becoming tangled. To fix this, simply buy a longer one.
Check the wires
It’s common for earbuds to have a short wire that connects to the body. This is called the “body loop”. When you put your earbuds on, the wire gets wrapped around your neck, and you need to unwrap it.
The best way to check for this is to look for the body loop, and pull it off. You should see a small wire that connects to the body. If this wire is too long, you may be able to shorten it by pulling it further apart.
If you have a pair of earbuds that are too tight, you’ll need to loosen them a little bit. If you have a pair that are too loose, you can tighten them by pressing down on the earbud.
Try another brand
When you’re trying to fix something, you should always try to find another solution. After all, if one option isn’t working, there’s a good chance another one might. So, what can you do to fix your wireless earbuds? Try another brand. If they’re not working, you might just get lucky.
I have a set of Bose headphones that I’ve used for over a decade. In fact, they’re still working just fine. But, it took me a while to figure out they were defective, and it turns out they weren’t.
They simply didn’t work on the left side. I was so frustrated with them that I tried to force them to work, and they worked for a few days. That’s when I realized they were defective, and I’ve had no problems with them since.
Fix the wire connection
Wireless earbuds are connected by a wire. If you’re having trouble getting your wireless earbuds to work correctly, you’re not alone. In fact, many people struggle with them all the time.
But, there are a few things you can do to fix them. First, make sure the wire is not twisted. This is the easiest thing to check. Simply pull the wire straight out from the earbud, and then bend it until you can’t pull it any further.
Second, make sure you are holding the earbuds in the right way. Most wireless earbuds come with a protective case. When you put the case on, make sure the earbuds are held firmly inside.
Third, if you’re having trouble getting the earbuds to work correctly, you may need a different pair. It’s not uncommon to find that the earbuds you bought are not compatible with your device.
Remove the old batteries
The issue may not be your earbuds, but your batteries. When you use an old battery in a new device, it can cause issues. So, the first thing you should do is swap out your old battery. You can usually find new batteries at any electronics store.
If you’ve tried that and it doesn’t work, the problem may be your wires. Maybe they are loose or frayed. You can try twisting them a bit to tighten them up. But, if that doesn’t work, then it’s time to change your batteries.
